Marathi Actress Alka Punewar Found in Chennai with Alleged Boyfriend

Marathi actress Alka Punewar, who was discovered in Chennai with her alleged boyfriend Alok Paliwal, was brought back to Thane by a team of police on Wednesday. No case has been registered against the couple, according to authorities.

Punewar had gone missing on December 27 after being seen off by her husband near Kopri. "We obtained their custody from the Chennai police and brought them to Thane," stated an officer from the Kopri police station.

Speaking to the media, the 44-year-old actress and mother of two children revealed that she orchestrated the entire episode to spare her children from the shame of their mother running away with a younger person. She explained that she eloped due to her dissatisfaction with her husband.
